Irene Anderson
Irene Anderson, eight year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson, of Preston, Washington, making her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Gibson, of Henrici for six years, died at the Gibson home Thursday at midnight, following an illness of five days. She was stricken Sunday with scarlet fever.

The little girl was a pupil of the Henrici School, and is survived by her parents, grandparents, and three brothers, Fred George,6, Charles, 3, and Lew, 1 year old.

The remains are at the Edward Brady mortuary, word having been sent to the parents. Funeral arrangements are to be made upon the arrival of the parents.

SCARLET FEVER FATAL TO 7-YEAR OLD GIRL
Only a few days illness of scarlet fever proved fatal to Irene Anderson, 7, who died suddenly at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Gibson, on Linns Mill Road near Henrici. She was the oldest of four children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson of Preston, Washington.

The little girl, who was born on the Gibson farm March 21, 1926, had lived with her grandparents the last six years. Besides her parents, she has three brothers, Fred George, 6, Charles, 3 and Lew, 1, all of Preston, Wash.
