Sarah L. Landis
A graveside service for Sarah L. Landis, a longtime resident of Oregon City, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Redland Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Landis died Friday in her home of causes related to age. She was 85.
She was born Sept. 13, 1906, in Anacortes, WA. Her maiden name was Gibson. She had lived in Oregon City area since 1934. Mrs. Landis was a homemaker. She was married to Charles A. Anderson, who died in 1953 and later married Fred Landis, who died in 1966.
Survivors include her sons, Lew Anderson of Estacada, Fred Anderson of Bliss, Idaho, and Arthur Anderson of Milwaukie; brother, George Gibson of Redmond; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that rememberances be contributions to the Diabetes Association of Oregon or to the Oregon division of the American Cancer Society. Hillside Chapel in charge of arrangements.
