MIFFLIN - Joseph C. Walton, 72, of Locust Grove Retirement Village, and formerly of Mifflintown RD2, died yesterday in the village.
He was a retired employee of the Maple Lawn Hatchery, McAlisterville; a former employee of the former Pennsylvania Railroad; and was an Army veteran of World War II who was awarded the Bronze Star.
Surviving are two half brothers, Samuel of Millerstown, and Howard of Media, Ohio.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery, Walker Twp.
Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
