Mrs. Ada Elizabeth Welcomer, of this place, died at the home of Mr. Ira Collins, in New Germantown, on Monday evening at 7 o'clock, after a brief illness. She and her sister, Mrs. Jacob Shumaker, of this place, went to New Germantown on Saturday to visit the Collins family and also to attend the services at Three Springs Church on Sunday. Mrs. Welcomer suffered a heart attack on Saturday evening and lingered until Monday evening.

She was a daughter of Abram and Lydia (Gray) Snyder, of New Germantown. She and Mr. Welcomer were married in January, 1891. He died in 1924. One daughter and two sons are also dead. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Jacob Shumaker, of this place and several stepsons and daughters.

Mrs. Welcomer was a member of Trinity Reformed Church and was a good, kind woman. She was 75 years old.

Funeral services were held this morning in the Reformed Church at 11 o'clock, the pastor, Rev. Roy Moorhead, officiating.
