Hazel H. Mabe, 94, Of Centerville, formerly of Columbus, died 4:15 a.m. Friday at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday by Myers Funeral Service at its Hathaway-Myers Chapel with the Rev. C. Gene McElroy officiating. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Calling from 1 p.m. tp time of service Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Historical Society. She was born Sept. 30, 1895 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of George and Louella Smock Mounts. She married Feb. 14, 1017, to Cecil Mabe, who died March 22, 1988. She had been a receptionist for Dr. Fisher in Columbus for 20 years and attended the Woodland Springs Christian Church in Carmel. Surviving is a son, Laurence Made of Centerville, a daughter Mildred Weatherly of Indianapolis, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
