Earl Airhart, 69, passed away peacefully Monday, March 19, 2007 at Kavanagh House on 56th St. Funeral services will be at 1pm Thursday, March 22nd at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Earl was born March 12, 1938 to Clarence and Gladys Airhart, Sr. He retired from John Deere after many years of faithful service. He was a loving father and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family. Earl is survived by his son, Bob Airhart; grandchildren, Steve, Michelle, Michael, Shannon, Ashley and Hunter Airhart; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Cameron and Aurora Jean; sisters, Elnora McBride, Wanda Schmuck, Shirley Broders, Lois Tilley and Sandra; brother, Larry Airhart; many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Paula Airhart and Susan Airhart; brothers, Donald Airhart, Clarence Airhart, Jr. and James Casperson; sisters, Lena Allie and Anna Mae Wilson. The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, March 21st at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
