He was born April 16, 1929 in Boone County, Indiana, son of the late J. Orville Bailey and Elsie May (Randol) Bailey.
Surviving are sister, Lucille Garrett of Crawfordsville, nephews, Marvin Bailey of Indianapolis, Paul Bailey of Las Vegas, Phillip Garrett of Crawfordsville and Jerry Campbell of Camby and several great-nieces and nephews including Elizabeth Garlock, Allison Stephens and Neil Garrett, great, great-nieces Ava Stephens and Calli Garlock and great, great-nephew Bryson Stephens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clyde Bailey, and sisters, Mildred Stoner and Janice Campbell.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, December 10, 2014 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana. Services will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 a. m. with officiating. Raymond will be laid to rest in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
