J. Orville Bailey was born Feb. 17, 1899, a son of Edgar and Lora (Gibson) Bailey. He married Elsie Randol on Dec. 19, 1917. They were the parents of five children: Clyde, Mildred, Raymond, Anna and Janice. Orville died on Nov. 11, 1995.

He died November 11 at Culver Union Hospital in Crawfordsville. Rev. Raymond Duff officiated. Burial was in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
