Mr. Henry Calvin Horne, age 82 passed away Friday May 13, 2011 at the Community Hospice Inpatient Center in Vidalia. The Laurens County native had lived in Collins for forty years. After retiring from the Air Force he was a fixture at the Reidsville Ace Hardware for more than two decades. Once he retired from Ace he owned and operated a lawn care business as long as his health permitted. He was known for his giving and helpful spirit, his unique sense of humor, and a meticulous attention to detail. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mrs. Jewel Horne of Collins; Daughters and son in law, Martha and Ronald Wilson of Tenn. Dinah Horne of Savannah,Rebecca Wilson of Al.
Son and daughter in law, Glynn and Robin Horne of Savannah; Sister, Ruth Warren; Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephew also survive.

Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Sunday from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral with Memorial Services following at 6:00pm with Speaker James McCray officiating.
