Mrs. Clella Elizabeth Bales, wife of Thomas Bales, died last night at the family home. Mrs. Bales, 62 years old, was born in Clay county, Mo., and lived in St. Joseph since 1917. She was a member of the Tenth Street Tabernacle. In addition to the husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lena Roesing, and one son, Keith Bales, both of St. Joseph; two brothers, W.K. James, Lock Springs, Mo., and Floyd James, San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
