CASSOPOLIS – Betsy Iona Vandygriff, 75, died Friday in a daughter's home in Cassopolis after an illness. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy C. Wilson and Terry L. Gless, both of Cassopolis, and Betsy K. Rhode of Chase, Michigan.; three sons, James N. II of Cassopolis, Jessy J. of Uniontown, Ohio, and Harold J. of Elkhart; five sisters, Myrtle Shepardson, Dorthea Seals, Fenny Harrell, Pansy Cleary and Irene Leamon, all of Niles and a brother, Happy Hipshier of Niles. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, where friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. (Niles Daily Star – Niles, MI – March 2002)
