START — Funeral services for Eldridge W. Pace, 67, of Start, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Rose Primitive Baptist Church with Elders David Turner and Harry Burns officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Pace died Monday at Richland Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Caldwell Parish, a retired farmer and member of Mount Rose Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Emmie Ann Pace of Start; four sons, E. W. Pace Jr. of Bastrop, Marion Pace, Billy Ray Pace and Royce Pace, all of Start; one brother, M. T. Pace of Grayson; four sisters, Mrs. Rachel Kinnison, Mrs. Roberta Hodges, both of Grayson, Mrs. Claudie Hammons of Semmes, Ala., and Mrs. Tommy Watson of West Burlington, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
