The deceased was born in Mississippi and later moved to Caldwell parish to make this home in the community east of Grayson.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 13th, at 3 P.M. with the Rev. P. C. Wright of Monroe in charge of the services. Interment was made in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
The funeral was held under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.
Mr. Pace was never married, but is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Rachel Kinnison and Mrs. Roberta Hodge, both of this parish, Mrs. Claude L. Hammonds of Mississippi; Mrs. Tommie Watson of Greenville, Miss.; two brothers, M. T. Pace of near Grayson and E. W. Pace of Hebert.
Pallbearers were M. J. Richardson, J. W. Tarver, E. S. Bassett, C. F. Strebeck, E. B. Douglas, R. G. Simmons.
