Jesse E Fry, 73 of Quapaw, died Tuesday afternoon at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. Mr Fry was born June 28, 1911 at Tenessee Prairie, Kansas. He worked as a machinist for Gulf Chemical Co., retiring in 1969. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church Baxter Springs, Kansas He married Vergie Morton on Feb 5, 1931, at Colubus, Kansas she survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Jack, Jess, Fred all of Baxter Springs, Kansas and Bob of Raymore, Mo Three Daughters, Eleanora Delmont, Columbus, Kansas, Barbara Dawson, Quapaw, OK and Linda Walkenshaw Midland, Texas. Two sisters Goldie Button, Peoria, OK and Ruby Cramer, Baxter Springs, Kansas 18 grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren,

Services will be at 2pm Thursday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Joh Morar Officiating, Burial will be in the Gandy Cemetery on this obit is says Baxter Springs, however most foks will tell you it is in Rest-A-While.

Pallbearers will be Luther BOyd, Carrel Byler, Lester King, Richard Lawry, Claude Algood and Ralph Ludlum

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm today at the Derfelt's Baxter Chapel
