Evanston -- Services for Stella Pierce, 87, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Crandall funeral Home with burial in the Evanston City Cemetery.
Mrs. Pierce died Aug. 21, 1991, in Evanston. She was born March 31, 1904, in Wyoming to William B. and Harriet (Hutchinson) Cook.
On July 24, 1920, she married Vira Joseph Pierce in Ogden, Utah. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her seven sons, Chester O., Ralph R., and Roger F., all of Evanston, Billy J. of Mountain View, Donald R. of Hilliard, Wyo., Keith A. of Elko, Nev., and Russell D. of Yuma, Ariz. Also surviving are two daughters, Veda Parsons of Rock springs, Bonnie Steed of Merced, Calif. Sisters, Elizabeth Gilmore of Evanston and Ida Lester of Riverton, Utah, two brothers, Edwin Cook of Green River, Wyo., and Lawrence Cook of Hilliard; 37 grand-children and 58 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the Crandall Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
