Funeral services for Velma Harriet Tomasini were held Monday, March 22, at the LDS Church with burial in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Steve Koler, Jack Hansen, Leonard Hansen, Tom Horn, Tom McMartin and Dan DiTullio.

Mrs. Tomasini died Thursday, March 18, at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County at the age of 63. She resided at 220 McClellan.

A resident in the community for 50 years, she was born in Hillard, Wyo., to the late William Cook Sr. and Harriet Hutchinson Cook. She married Lidio Tomasini on April 12, 19?? in Rock Springs.

Mrs. Tomasini was active in local bowling leagues and was a member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her husband of Rock Springs; two sons, William Tomasini of Granger and Carl Tomasini of Rock Springs; two daughters, Mrs. George (Kathy) Foster and Marlene Tomasini, both of Rock Springs; her mother, Mrs. Harriet Cook of Evanston; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Elizabeth) Gilmore, Mrs. Kate Williams and Mrs. Joseph (Stella) Pierce, all of Evanston, Mrs. Walter (Florence) Goddard of Rock Springs and Mrs. William (Ida) Lester of Riverton, Utah; three brothers, Edwin Cook and Arthur Cook, both of Green River and Lawrence Cook of Evanston; six grandchildren, Mrs. Richard (Cindy) Blasi of Granger, Ronald Tomasini, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany, Billy and Donald Tomasini of Granger and Billy and Bobby Foster of Rock Springs; and one great-grandchild, Justin Blasi of Granger.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William Jr.
