MRS. F. MEYERS, 80, SUCCUMBS THURSDAY
Mrs. Florence Meyers, 80, widow of Clarence Meyers, died Thursday, July 23, in Hills and Dales Hospital.
Mrs. Meyers was a resident of Caro until two years ago when she moved to Cass City to live near her daughter, Mrs. Harry Crandall.
She was the former Florence Atwood, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theron W. Atwood of Caro and was born October 19, 1899, in Caro.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Cass City, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Caro, and a director of the State Savings Bank of Caro.
She married Mr. Meyers November 30, 1911, in Caro, where they made their home. Her husband died March 22, 1951. He was formerly president of the State Savings Bank of Caro.
Survivors, besides her daughter, Betty, are two grandsons, Charles and Ronald Crandall of Cass City, and two brothers: Ellett Atwood of Caro and Theron Atwood of Bridgman, Michigan.
Funeral services were held Monday in the Huston Funeral Home, Caro. The Rev. E. Isaacs of Cass City officiated.
Burial was in the Caro cemetery.
