Norris, was a widower with 3 children (2 daughters, Matilda & Maria, & a son Francis M.). They were married in January 1848 and had one child together, William Norris, in 1853. By 1855 they had moved the family to Wayne County, IL. Thomas died there on Sep 3, 1857.
Her second husband was John F. Zimmerman. After his death she married Henry Gardner in abt 1870, in Wabash Co., IL. In 1875 she was again widowed. She lived with her only son William until his death in 1895.
In 1897, two years after Williams death, Villers entered the poor house in Posey County where she died in 1902.
