She married James Harvey Norris on August 2, 1840 and bore him 10 children: Luther, James E., John F., Cassa S. "Cassie", Mary E., Lionel Hughes, Sara L., Anna, Eliza and one more.

Obituary in Poseyville News, Stewartsville column Sep. 5, 1902 says "Mrs. Estrel [sic] Norris died Monday at the poor infirmary at Mt. Vernon. Her remains were brought here Tuesday and laid to rest in the home graveyard..."
