B. H. Farmer
Bernice Hoyt Farmer, 77, of 402 E. Doyle St., died Saturday, Nov. 27.
Born in Habersham County, he was a son of the late Issac Leon and Martha Walker Farmer. He was employed with Claude Groover, Inc., Stewart Motors and Lawson Motor Company and was a member of Chopped Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include widow, Mrs. Jewell Goodson Farmer; a son, Bill H. Farmer of Toccoa, a brother, Rome Farmer of Toccoa; two grandchildren, Mrs. Susan Snyder and Miss Julie Farmer, both of Toccoa and a great-granddaughter.
The funeral was Sunday at 3 p.m. from Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bledsoe and the Rev. Jarrett Ragan officiating.
Pallbearers were Fred Farmer, Sam Sosebee, Joe Vaughn, Ralph Farmer, Roy Farmer, Howell Lawson, Gary Harper and Don Stewart.
Burial was in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
