Services for Blanche Carson "Kit" Andrews, 76, 1029 N. Thomas St., are pending at West Funeral Home. She died Dec. 10 at Guadalupe Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Greeley, Colo., and was raised and educated in Colorado. In 1949 she and Otis Raymond Andrews were married in Las Cruces, moving to Carlsbad the following year. She was associated with Woolworth Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Andrews, San Angelo, Texas; one daughter, Connie Manthei, Lakewood; three sisters, Ruth Carson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Mary Thompson, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Keith Cross, Anaheim, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Service for Blanche "Kit" Carson Andrews, 76, 1029 N. Thomas St., who died Dec. 10 at Guadalupe Medical Center, is to be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the West Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bacon, First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include Ray Moore, Robert Higgins, Sean Andrews, Todd Oden, Kenneth St. Peters, Allan Kline, Kris Andrews and Eddie Manthei.
