Mary "Reva" Ahlstrom Davenport
1902 - 2000

Early Life: Reva was born in Tropic, Utah, on August 7, 1902, to Benjamin Franklin "Frank" and Roselia Riggs Ahlstrom.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On July 22, 1925, Reva married Leon Ray Davenport in the Manti Utah Temple. They moved from Southern Utah to Salt Lake City in 1929. Ray passed away in March 26, 1976. Reva was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent much time in church service, temple work and genealogy research. She also kept a lovely home and yard. Reva was very gifted musically and taught private piano lessons for 51 years. She directed many choral groups in the Salt Lake area, for which she was highly honored and recognized, sometimes holding two positions at once. She has been an example of quiet goodness for almost a century, serving and sharing her talents wherever she could. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and compiling histories. She also taught a study group for over 20 years. Beloved Mary "Reva" Ahlstrom Davenport passed away March 17, 2000, in Orem, Utah. She was 97 years old.
