NAMPA — Services for Edith Anna Knigge, 63, Route 1, Nampa, who died at her home Monday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Shepherd Mortuary Chapel by the Rev. Harold Shellhart of the Whitney Methodist Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest.
Mrs. Knigge was born Feb. 28, 1906, at Alexandria, Neb., and attended schools there. She was married to Roy Knigge on March 26, 1926, at Fairbury, Neb. They farmed in Nebraska And moved to Idaho in 1936, settling north of Shoshone where they farmed. They moved to a ranch at Glenns Ferry in 1948 and to Star in 1959. They came to Nampa in 1963 where they have lived since.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Knigge, Nampa; a daughter, Mrs. George (Ellen) Jess, Grand View; three sons, Daryl Knigge, Boise, Harry Nnigge, Twin Falls, and Dwain Knigge, Reno, Nev.; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Gaston, Fairbury, Neb., Mrs. Florence Berry and Mrs. Ida Lena Elam, both of Boise; two brothers, George Eden of Gooding and Harry Eden, Shoshone, and by 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister.
Pallbearers will be Joe Cooper, Ron Heaton, Roger Ryska, Wayne Chaney, Dale Eden and, Merle Eden.
