On Tuesday, Jan. 25, Mrs. Elizabeth Eggenberger of Theilman was called to the Great Beyond after a short illness. Death was due to old age. Mrs. Eggenberger, whose maiden name was Elizabeth von Keller, was born in Switzerland in 1827. She was married to Charles Eggenberger sixty-one years ago and together they came to America in 1854. After living for some time in Canada they moved to Minnesota, settling at Theilman where they lived ever since. her husband died in 1902. The deceased is survived by three sons and five daughers, John Eggenberger of Canada, Henry and Christ of Theilman, Mrs. Garratt (Anna Elizabeth) Korthaus and Mrs. Leonard (Emma) Sieger of Buffalo Gap, S. D., Mrs. Rosanna Peterson of Oregon, Mrs. Louisa Schleicher of Millville and Mrs. Frank(Amelia) Laqua of this city. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the Lutheran church at Theilman, Rev. Krahn officiating.
