Leola, 83, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at Covenant – Cooper in Saginaw. Leola was born March 29, 1925 to the late Cecil B. and May Irene (French) Acker, in Porter Twp., Midland County.
She married Harlan C. Ebright on September 11, 1943 in Perrinton, MI.
She later married Capt. Harold E. Hottle, Merchant Marines, Ret., on October 26, 1968.
Leola is survived by her children, Marsha (Gary) Morrissette and Ronald (Sandra) Ebright, both of Saginaw Twp.; Donald (Carmelita) Ebright, Kathleen, GA; and Scott E. Ebright, Redwood, CA; seven grandchildren, Shelly Morrissette, Stacey (Tim) Miller, Michael Ebright, Stephanie Ebright, Jon (Amy) Ebright, Kristine (Ben) Sapak, and Scott Eric Ebright; eight great-grandchildren; Thomas, Andrew, Kiersten, Tyler, Haley, Talon, Parker and Ella; three sisters and one brother, Rozella M. Pascoe, St. Louis, MI; Wanda R. Wenzel, Lagrange, IN; Donald J. (Joan) Acker, Goshen, IN; and Joanne L. Badge, Greenville, MI; many nieces, nephews, and their families; a special loving friend, Harry Smith, Owosso, MI.
She was predeceased by her husbands and by a brother, Walter C. Acker.
Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw (Shields), where her family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Rev. David T. Birnbaum will officiate. Committal services and burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge, MI.
