Miss Sally Pike, 79, resident of this city for many years, died Sunday, September 24, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Memphis and funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church on Monday morning with the Rev. Wallace G. Ellinger conducted the funeral mass. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery, with LaForge Undertaking Company service.
Miss Pike was born April 8, 1882 at Uniontown, Ky., the daughter of R.W. and Mary J. Kirk Pike and came to this city with her family when she was a young woman.
Survivors include four brothers, M.L. Pike of Hayti, Noel Pike of Charleston, Mo., Leonard Pike of Steele and R.D. Pike of this city.
