Services were held at Sacred Heart church Wednesday morning for Dewey Robert Pike, 63, who suffered a heart attack at his home near this city last Tuesday, February 13 and died en route to Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital. Burial was in Little Prairie cemetery with LaForge Undertaking Company service.
Mr. Pike was born at Paducah, Ky. on June 29, 1898, the son of Robert and Mary Jane Keith Pike and had spent most of his adult life farming near this city.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elva Pike; three sons, Robert and Alton of Caruthersville and Bernard Pike of Ventura, Calif. and three brothers, Matt Pike of Hayti, Noel Pike of Charleston, Mo. and Leonard Pike of Micola.
