Lillian Lang, 75, Gillette, Wyo., formerly of Hays, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, Gillette.
She was born April 9, 1936, in Hays to Emmanuel J. and Amelia (Scheck) Lang.
She married Ralph Hoff on Sept. 22, 1954, in Victoria. He preceded her in death April 12, 1975. She lived most of her life in the Ellis County area. She worked in housekeeping at hospital and motels.She moved to Gillette in 2000.
She loved family and enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Ed Hoff, Gillette; two daughters, Mary Vigil and husband, David Sr., and Joyce Hanten and husband, Ron, all of Gillette; three sisters, Doris Kohlrus, Hays, Darlene Leiker and husband, Kenny, Council Grove, and Jeanette Jacobs, Topeka; a sister-in-law, Toni Lang, Hays; five grandchildren, David Vigil Jr., Gary Vigil, Leslie Michelle Temple, Lacey Hanten and Corey Hanten; and four great-grandchildren, Dalton Vigil, Amber Temple, Arieanna Temple and Brooklyn Vigil.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Francis Lang; and a sister, Bernadette Kreutzer.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church or St. Fidelis Cemetery Fund in care of the mortuary.
