his d.c. says he was born in St. Joseph, MO., but he wasn't. He was born in Florissant, MO., close to St. Louis.

The copy of their marriage on Feb. 20, 1882 calls her Dora Grazier. They were married by Father Ignatius Conrad, O. S. B. in the church of St. Joseph's Cathedral. Witnessed by William Lorey and Lillie Grazier... his brother and her sister.

Joseph William Lorey was born the 19th of Feb. in 1861, in Florissant, MO., a suburb of St. Louis, MO. On Feb. 20th, 1882, in the 1st St. Joseph's Cathedral in St. Joseph, MO., he married Mary Madora Grazier. They had 11 children. He died the 25th of July, 1937 in St. Joseph, MO., and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery there.
