Mrs. Margaret Lorey, 79 years old, died at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning at her home, 711 Powell Street. She was the widow of Joseph Lorey, and had long been a resident of St. Joseph. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Joseph and Lewis Lorey, of Horton, Kans.; Edward Lorey of Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Noel McCrocker of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Alfred Verssue of St. Joseph. The funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, Rev. J. J. O'Neill officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Her parents' names were Edward Senate and Mary Freeman according to daughter's death certificate.
