Mrs. Florence Hoag
Mrs. Florence Hoag, 70, a native of St. Joseph, died Wednesday at a hospital at Topeka, Kan.
Word of Mrs. Hoag's death was received by her sister and brother, Mrs. H. Marshall Jones, and brother, Emmett B. Lorey.
Mrs. Hoag left St. Joseph 40 years ago to live in Kansas City, making her home there for 20 years. She then moved to Topeka, where she has resided ever since. She belonged to the Catholic Church.
In addition to her sister and brother, survivors include one son, Francis Quinn, Kansas City; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Estill, Van Nuys, Cal.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hennessy, a former St. Joseph resident, died New Year's day in Kansas City, where she lived, at the age of 81. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Jones left this morning for Topeka to attend services today at 2. The body is at Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Interment will be at Memorial Park cemetery there.
