Mr. Huddlestun had been ailing for the past three years, and two months ago he entered the hospital for observation and treatment. He was returned from the hospital for three weeks but found it necessary to go back and submit to an operation July 30. After the operation Mr. Huddlestun contracted pneumonia which caused his death.

The deceased had lived in this vicinity all his life, having come to Casey in 1928 from Yale. Until that year he had operated a restaurant in Yale, and before that in Hazel Dell.

Surviving are his wife, Nellie; two sons, Bruce of Casey and Ernest of Long Island, N. Y.; two daughters, Mrs. Aleen Wattleworth of Yale and Mrs. Gladys Darr of Casey; and five sisters.
