She married ANDREW JOHN SLAUGHTER February 04, 1858 in Olney, Pickens County, Alabama, son of WILEY SLAUGHTER and LUCY USSERY. He was born June 1831 in North Carolina, and died October 1904 in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

CATHERINE "KATE" and her twin sister, Annie Boon married on the same day and place, February, 4, 1858 in Olney, Pickens County, Alabama.
