Mr. B. J. Boone
Mr. B. J. Boone died at his home here last Thursday morning after a long illness from old age. Deceased was a confederate veteran and lacked only one day of being eighty years old.
He was truly a good man, of a cheerful disposition and often spread cheer and comfort in the homes of sick and distressed neighbors and friends. His were hands every ready to help in time of need. Funeral services were conducted from the residence by Rev. H. R. Wade, and his remains were laid to rest in the odd Fellows Cemetery.
