Mrs. Minnie E Bucher, 81, wife of Larkin John Bucher, Gettysburg R 3, died at her home Saturday evening at 7:45 from the effects of a stroke suffered July 27.
She was born in Franklin township, a daughter of the late George and Harriet (Mickley) Bushey, and always resided in Adams county. Mrs. Bucher was a life-long member of Flohr’s Lutheran church and was an active church worker organist and teacher of a Sunday school class for a number of years. Mr. And Mrs. Bucher were married 61 years ago.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hartzell, at home; Mrs. Bernard Redding, Gettysburg R D, and Mrs. Clarence Deardorff, McKnightstown; six grand-children; nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, John C Bushey, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services Wednesday morning at 10:00 from Flohr’s Lutheran church conducted by the Rev. George H Berkheimer. Interment in the church cemetery.
