Bobbie Ray Irvin Allen, age 82, of Walkers Creek, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 28, 2015. Mrs. Allen was born October 18, 1932 in Oak Grove, Arkansas to P.G. and Frances Elizabeth Bolton.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al Irvin; husband, J.R. Allen; two brothers, Herman and Dewain Bolton; six sisters, Idell Thompson, Willie Everitt, Merble Fish, Ouida Bethany, Erma Montgomery, and Geneva Leggitt.
She is survived by two sisters; Hazel Howell of Taylor, AR, and Emma Poe of Walkers Creek, AR; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Bro. Randy Wilson and Bro. Jonathan Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Taylor. Memorials may be made to the Door Fund at First Baptist Church in Taylor, and Serenity Hospice, 1316 E. Main, c/o Heather Biddle, R.N., Magnolia, AR 71753.
