Willie Belle Everitt, age 86, passed into the arms of Jesus on January 15, 2004. Unquestioned devotion as a christian, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, "Aunt Willie" will always be remembered for her love and kindness, her home cooking, loyalty and for her recognition of goodness. Born in Mars Hill, Arkansas, in 1917, she was married to Calvin T. Everitt on September 3, 1938, who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Channelview, Texas for 29 years. Upon his retirement in 1979, "Aunt Willie" and "Uncle Cal" moved to Cleveland, Texas, community and developed new friends and enjoyed many activities as members of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church until their passing. Fond memories will ever remain for their shared love of gardening.
