William Bird, more familiarly known as "Grandpa" Bird, died at his home in Yampa Monday at 6 p. m. at the age of 82 years. He had long been in failing health, and his death was not unexpected. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon. Interment in the Yampa Cemetery.
