Mrs. Alice Caroline Doolittle, 90, 140 W. 10th St., widow of Sylvester J. Doolittle, died early Saturday evening at Ball Hospital following a long illness. Born in Royalton, Wis., June 18, 1869, Mrs. Doolittle had resided in Muncie since 1897. She was a member of the Avondale Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl Corrello, Lima, Ohio; three sons, Lloyd L. Muncie, George W., Rocky River, Ohio, and Earl E., a former member of the Muncie police force, San Clemento, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Avondale Methodist Church with the Rev. Gorman Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Meeks Mortuary after 3 p.m. Monday or at the church one hour before services.
