On June 4, 1930, in Amenia, he married Dorothy Belter, who survives, along with two daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Casey, Kent, CT; Mrs. Gerald (Margaret) Wilcox, Amenia; three sons, Leo Jr, Joseph & James, all of Amenia; one sister, Mae Kain, Wassaic; two brothers, Joseph B & Raymond, both Amenia; 7 grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
