William V. McEnroe, 66, Amenia, died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, April 29. A native of Amenia, he was a well known dairy farmer and cattle dealer. Son of the late Thomas H. and Mary O'Brien McEnroe, he was born in Amenia September 29, 1896. Mr McEnroe was educated in Amenia schools. He was married in the church of St. John the Evangelist, New York City, to the former Miss Elizabeth Nealis on April 23, 1924. He had been a member of the Amenia Fire Company. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs Lawrence Hardisty, Amenia, and Mrs William Costine, Poughkeepsie; a son, William T, Amenia; a sister, Mrs Richard Kain, Wassaic; four brothers, Joseph, John, Leo and Raymond, all of Amenia; eigth grandchildren.
