AUSTIN - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wesson, 102, who liked to tell that she walked "halfway to Texas" alongside a covered wagon from Alabama in 1871, died at her home here Sunday. She had been in excellent health until about three months ago. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. L. D. Fowler, and two sons, Tom and Joe Wesson, all of Austin.
