David Andrew Hashbarger, son of Zachariah Samuel Hashbarger and Margaret S. (Tiller) Hashbarger, was born 29th of August 1847, in Tennessee. He married on August 6, 1866, in Greene County, to Mary Evaline (Fraker), daughter of William C. Fraker and Susannah (Hartman) Fraker. David had just finished service in the Tennessee Cavalry during the Civil War. This couple had 7 children: William Z; Dora B; Rachel S. "Nannie"; Laura E; Martha Eugenia; Joseph M; Franklin Alexander. Most of their married life was spent in the Limestone area and they were buried in the Milburnton Cemetery which is next to the United Methodist Church- Greene Co., Tennessee. David & Mary E. Hashbarger were my husband's great grandparents.
