Charles Merle Cook, 76, Rock Springs, Ga., died Friday, March 25, 1994, at Hutcheson Medical Center, Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Mr. Cook was born March 17, 1918, in Aledo, the son of Edward and Fannie McCaw Cook. He married Bonnie Rahn. He retired as an engineer from Roper Corporation. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Survivors include his widow, Bonnie Cook and daughter, Karen Berry, Lawrenceville, Ga.; sons, Douglas V. Cook, Houston, and Gregory Cook, Lawrenceville, five grandchildren; a sister, Edith Metzner, New Windsor, brothers, Orrin Cook, Florence, Ariz., Willard Cook, Minneapolis, Minn., and Alden Cook, Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held March 26 at LaFayette, Ga. Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
