Mrs. David (Mary) Poster, 79 of New Richland, died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital at Rochester.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in All Saint's Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
A parish rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Friedrich Funeral Home in New Richland.
A native of Waseca County, she was born March 23,1896, to Daniel and Margaret Adams.
She was a graduate from New Richland High School and Mankato State College, a member of the All Saints Church and it's Rosary Society, the American Legion Auxiliary and retired Teachers Association.
She taught rural schools in both Waseca and Freeborn Counties.
Mary Adams and Jerome Byrne were married November 25, 1921 in New Richland. He preceded her in death March 17, 1947.
She married David Poster on 1951 and he died May 28, 1966.
Two brothers, John and Joseph and a sister, Rosalia also preceded her in death.
Survivors are
Two daughters;
Mrs. Robert (Mariana) Hill of Lincoln, Nebraska
Joan Byrne of Okiawa
Four grandsons;
Jerome, Joseph, Mathew and Owe.

Five sisters;
Mrs. Cyril (Veronica) Donovan of Minneapolis
Mrs. John (Bernadine) Warden of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Mrs. John (Elinor) McCarney of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
Mrs. Ray (Dorothy) Sullivan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin
