Dorothy Winnifred (Adams) Sullivan, 90, died on Holy Saturday, March 29, 1997, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She had been in decent health and in her usual cranky but kindly spirit, living alone and taking care of herself until she suffered a stroke and heart failure a home and died a few hours later.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at Holy Cross Church in Milwukee at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3. Interment was on Friday next to her husband Ray, in Calvary Cemetery, adjacent to Holy Cross.

Dorothy was born January 19, 1907, one of a set of triplets (with Joseph Frank and Rosalia Theresa) to Dan and Margaret (Haas) Adams in New Richland. She graduated from New Richland High School in 1925, then attended Mankato Teachers College in 1926. She married Raymond C. Sullivan of the Bath community on October 14, 1936. They were the parents of four children: Kathleen Ann, Maureen, Mary Winnifred and Susan Colleen.

She is survived by three daughters: Kathleen Frank, Maureen Villarreal, Mary Bloechl, son-in-law Ronald Santner;14 grandchildren;25 great grandchildren and one sister Elinor McCartney of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Susie and her siblings, Joseph, who died in France during WW II. John, Rosalia, Edward, Mary Poster, Veronica Donovan, Bernadine Warden and Margaret Kircher.
