Mrs. Fanny Griffith Threatt, 75, died at the home of a son, O.A. Threatt, Friday morning, August 28, at 5:30 o'clock, of a stroke of paralysis.

Surviving are three brothers, William and James, of Jefferson, S.C. and B.F. Griffith, of Minden, La.; ten children, two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Sistare, Kingsport, Tenn., and Mrs. H.C. Thomas, Lancaster, S.C.,; eight sons, O.A., Pageland, S.C.; L.A., B.C., and R.H., addresses unknown; C.E., Belmont, N.C.; J.B., Rock Hill, S.C.; H.H., Lancaster, S.C. and G.T. Threatt, Fort Crockett, Texas. Twenty-one grand-children also survive.

Six grand-daughters, Bessie, Gertrude, Julia, and Naomi Threatt, and Margie and Sarah Thomas were flower girls. Six grandsons, Orvae [sic], Gordon, Woodrow, Frank, and Ronald Threatt and Frank Thomas acted as pallbearers.

Rev. James B. Little, assisted by Rev. R.W. Catoe, conducted funeral services.
