------------------------------------

Seen on 1900 census. Is also found in WWI draft registration records. At that time was apparently working with the mill in Winnsboro in Fairfield county, South Carolina.

Born October 1881 per 1900 census. Born June 5, 1883 according to draft record.

Mentioned in his mothers obituary (1931) as one of the three sons with addresses unknown.

------------------------------------

My mother (grand-daughter of Oscar Threatt, brother of Lumous) believes that her mother had been told that someone (a nephew or relative) heard or saw that Lumous was living drunk or homeless and had passed away, and sent word to the mother so she would know about it. However I have seen no records of Lumous to confirm one way or the other. He is not on the census on 1910, 1920, or after. There is not a death record. I am unsure why he was assumed alive on the mother's obituary unless they were unsure. He is known to have lived a wandering drifter/hobo kind of lifestyle so dying unknown would not have been unexpected.
