Mrs. Catherine Parrett Dies at Iowa City and Funeral Will Be Here

Mrs. Catherine Parrett, aged 66, died Sunday noon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Blanch Coffin, at Iowa City. She had been sick two years and the direct cause of death was heart trouble. The remains arrived in Waterloo today.

The deceased is survived by her husband, R. T. Parrett, Iowa City; a son, F. C. Parrett, Leavenworth, Kans., and five daughters--Mrs. Helen McWilliams, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. Tillie Vaughan and Mrs. Minnie Wentworth, both of Cedar Falls; Mrs. Maud Jordon, Waverly, and Mrs. Cora Johnson, 305 Jefferson street, Waterloo.

Funeral services will consist of prayer in Kistner's chapel Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. and services aat Union Congregational church at 2:30 p.m. Rev. W. A. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood. Friends may view the remains at the undertaking rooms until the hour for the funeral.
