Maxine Adkins Byrge age 81 of LaFollette, TN passed away on Saturday, April 9th, 2011.
She was born on February 28, 1930.
She was preceded in death by her father John S. Adkins, mother Mae Cupp Adkins, husband Link Byrge, brothers Johnny M. Adkins and Buford Adkins, and sister Frankie Blanchard.
She is survived by her brothers Bob Adkins of Caryville, TN and Glen Adkins and wife Norma Jean of Clinton, TN, local nieces and nephews Jana Adkins Davis and husband Gary Davis of Oak Ridge, TN, Gary Adkins and wife Anette Adkins of Chattanooga, TN, Debbie Adkins Polson of Caryville, TN, Bobby Adkins and wife Michelle Adkins of Caryville, TN, as well as their children.
There are also many other nieces and nephews who live outside of Tennessee. There are also step-family members Brenda Ward, Betty Ward, Naomi Ivy, Louise Massengill, Anita Cochran, Linda Pierce all of Jacksboro TN., Pat Mays of Indiana, Link Byrge Jr., Johnny Byrge, and Chucky Byrge all of Jacksboro, TN, as well as several step-grand children and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10th, 2011 in the Queener Cemetery with Rev David Gresher officiating. Interment will follow.
